Baggs AEG-1 Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Natural Engelmann Spruce

Delicate Acoustic Articulation Meets Zero-Feedback Stage Performance

Known for over four decades as the premier authority in acoustic amplification under the iconic L.R. Baggs name, Baggs completes its flagship acoustic lineup with the AEG-1 Acoustic-Electric Guitar in Natural Engelmann Spruce. Engineered specifically for fingerstyle players, delicate acoustic performers, and gigging musicians who require maximum dynamic sensitivity, the AEG-1 delivers pure acoustic warmth with zero feedback at stage volume.

Featuring a solid Natural Engelmann Spruce top, this model offers a sweet, complex midrange and immediate touch responsiveness that reacts to the softest fingertip attack. Paired with a chambered solid mahogany back and sides, the thin-line design completely eliminates body resonance feedback on loud stages—giving you studio-grade acoustic expression directly through any PA, acoustic amplifier, or recording interface.

Proprietary Acoustic Equalization System & HiFi Multi-Sensor Electronics

Integrated directly into the instrument's soundboard, the Baggs onboard Acoustic Equalization System works in synergy with their acclaimed HiFi multi-sensor pickup system. By capturing the actual physical movement and air of the soundboard rather than harsh string vibration, the AEG-1 reproduces the true acoustic voice of the guitar with incredible richness, organic clarity, and zero piezo harshness.
