At The Guitar Sanctuary, we curate the finest boutique instruments, amplifiers, and effects in the world. We understand that purchasing high-end gear online requires trust. To ensure you are satisfied while maintaining the "mint" integrity of our inventory for all clients, we offer a 48-Hour Approval Period.
The Approval Window

You have 48 hours from the time of delivery (as confirmed by tracking) or in-store purchase to inspect your purchase and notify us of a return request.

All returns must be authorized via email or phone prior to shipping.
Return Requirements & Condition To qualify for a refund, all returned items MUST be in their original condition. This includes:

All original packaging and packing materials.

All accessories, owner’s manuals, and warranty cards.

The warranty must NOT have been registered.

Instruments must show no signs of use, including pick marks, buckle rash, or fret wear. Any items showing signs of use or wear will be refused or subject to a significantly higher depreciation fee at our discretion.

When shipping your return, you MUST:

Insure the shipment: Properly insure the package for the full purchase price.

Pack Professionally: Pack the item in the exact same manner in which it was received.

Protect the Boxes: Do NOT write on the product boxes. In the case of guitars and effects, use a dedicated outer shipping carton like was used to originally ship your order to you.
The Cost of Return (Shipping & Fees)

Shipping Responsibility: The customer is responsible for all shipping and insurance costs for both the outbound and inbound journeys.

"Free Shipping" Recovery: If your order originally qualified for a "Free Shipping" promotion, the actual cost of the original outbound shipping incurred by the store will be deducted from your final refund.

Amplifier & Cabinet Repackaging Fee: All returned Amplifiers and Speaker Cabinets are subject to a 10% Repackaging & Inspection Fee. Factory packaging for heavy equipment is often compromised after two transit cycles; this fee covers labor and specialized materials to restore the item to "New" status.

Additionally, any item that we are unable to return to its factory condition (i.e. cellophane wrapped packages, boxes sealed with manufacturer labels, cables, etc.) are subject to a 10% Restock Fee.

Final Sale Items Special orders, custom builds, trade-in deals, layaways, and items marked "As-Is" are final sales and not eligible for return.
