Pop-Free Silent Hot-Swapping for Strat, Tele & Recessed Jacks
The Guitar Sanctuary is proud to offer the Mogami Gold Instrument Silent S-10 10-foot straight instrument cable. Specially designed for guitars with recessed or side-mounted output jacks—such as Fender Stratocasters, Telecasters, and flush acoustic endpins—this cable features a straight Neutrik® SilentPlug that eliminates the ear-splitting pops and buzzes caused by swapping instruments under full power.
Constructed using legendary Mogami 2524 high-definition cable stock, the Gold Silent S-10 features an Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) core coupled with a conductive polymer sub-shield and a carbon-impregnated PVC layer. This multi-tier shielding architecture completely suppresses mechanical handling noise, electrostatic interference, and RF hum while delivering crystal-clear high-end detail and tight low-end punch through high-gain tube amplifiers, pedalboards, and digital modelers.
Sanctuary Expert Note: Straight plugs are essential for Stratocasters, Telecasters, and recessed jack plates where right-angle connectors bind or fail to seat completely. The integrated Neutrik SilentPlug short-circuits the ground automatically until fully inserted, keeping your amplifiers, pedalboards, and live FOH mix protected during mid-set guitar changes.
