Unlike standard 500-series models, the Legacy 514ce captures vintage-voiced character by pairing a solid Western Red Cedar top with solid Neo-Tropical Mahogany back and sides, voiced with historic traditional X-bracing.

The combination of a Western Red Cedar soundboard and mahogany body produces a warm, open acoustic response with a dry, woody midrange and immediate touch-sensitivity. Paired with Taylor's slim, fast-playing mahogany neck, sleek faux tortoiseshell binding, mother-of-pearl Small Diamond fretboard inlays, and factory-fitted LR Baggs Element VTC electronics, the Legacy 514ce delivers a rich vintage feel with reliable modern performance.
