Co-designed by virtuoso Andy Wood and John Suhr, this signature instrument combines organic hand-torched lutherie with high-performance 24-fret versatility engineered for high-gain lead execution, modern fusion, and intricate hybrid picking.

The hallmark of this instrument is its hand-torched select Swamp Ash body. Before the satin War Black finish is applied, the body is hand-torched to burn away soft grain, creating a 3D tactile wood texture you can feel. It is paired with a satin-finished Roasted Maple neck and fingerboard featuring Suhr's comfortable Modern Elliptical profile (.780"–.830"), an ultra-flat 16" fingerboard radius, and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets for effortless sweeping and wide pitch bends. Hardware performance is anchored by Suhr's proprietary 2-post tremolo bridge with solid steel saddles and steel block for smooth, precise return-to-pitch whammy operation.

Sonic power is driven by Andy's signature Suhr Woodbucker humbuckers featuring Alnico II magnets and raw nickel covers. Wound for warm midrange clarity and tight low-end response, these pickups are wired to a versatile 5-way selector with coil-splitting options. Additionally, a push-pull tone control converts the bridge humbucker from series to parallel wiring, offering chimey single-coil snap without output drop or 60-cycle hum.
