This run features the new McCarty III pickups, designed to capture the "vocal" mid-range of late-50s humbuckers. However, unlike a standard McCarty, this guitar utilizes the 408-style switching system. Two mini-toggles engage a proprietary "splap" (split/tap) wiring, allowing you to move from thick, warm humbucking tones to authentic, chimey single-coil sounds with zero volume loss.
