Ibanez Genesis Collection 540PIII - Purple Neon

80s Shred Heritage & Japanese Precision Reborn in Purple Neon

The Ibanez Genesis Collection 540PIII in Purple Neon brings back one of the most iconic, high-performance designs from the late 1980s. Handcrafted in Japan as part of the acclaimed Genesis Collection, the 540PIII features its signature reverse doublecut offset Basswood body, finished in a mesmerizing, shift-heavy Purple Neon gloss that demands attention under stage lights.

Built for technical execution, the 540PIII centers around the ultra-thin, lightning-fast 5-piece Maple/Walnut Super Wizard neck profile. Topped with a bound Rosewood fingerboard featuring classic white Sharktooth inlays and 24 jumbo frets, this neck gives players effortless upper-fret access and incredible single-note clarity for complex sweeps, tapped passages, and fast rhythm work.

Equipped with high-output versatility, the 540PIII pairs an Infinity R ceramic humbucker in the neck position for smooth, articulate leads with a aggressive V8 Alnico bridge humbucker that cuts through dense high-gain mixes. Anchored by the gold-standard double-locking Ibanez Edge tremolo bridge and precision Gotoh tuners, this guitar delivers bulletproof tuning stability through aggressive dive-bombs, flutter effects, and extreme whammy abuse.
