Fender Stories Collection Brent Mason Telecaster - Primer Gray

Nashville Session Icon Meets Unmatched Studio Versatility

The Guitar Sanctuary is proud to present the Fender® Stories Collection Brent Mason Telecaster® in Primer Gray. Recreating the legendary, highly modded 1968 Telecaster used on thousands of hit records by Country Music Hall of Fame inductee and studio giant Brent Mason, this instrument is the ultimate Swiss Army Knife for the working guitarist.

Dressed in a unique Primer Gray satin auto-primer finish with black hardware, this Telecaster features a lightweight ash body paired with a comfortable maple neck carved to a custom Brent Mason profile. What sets this guitar apart from any standard Telecaster is its custom-engineered hardware and versatile pickup system. Outfitted with a Glaser™ B-Bender system integrated into the bridge, players can perform expressive, fluid pedal-steel style pitch bends on the B-string with subtle shoulder strap motion while keeping both hands in position.

Tonal firepower is delivered by a specialized three-pickup HSH/SSS hybrid array: a Seymour Duncan® Vintage Mini-Humbucker in the neck position, a Hot Stack® Stratocaster® STK-S2 in the middle, and a Vintage Stack® Tele® STK-T3B at the bridge. Controlled via a master volume, a dedicated middle pickup volume (allowing you to blend the middle single-coil into any position), a push/pull tone pot for middle pickup coil-splitting, and a 3-way blade selector, this guitar effortlessly shifts from high-octane chicken-pickin' twang to warm jazz humbucking warmth and glassy Strat-style quack.
