Darkglass Microtubes X 900 Limited Edition Bass Head

900 Watts of Multi-Band Distortion Architecture in a Collector's Chassis

The Guitar Sanctuary is proud to present the Darkglass Electronics Microtubes X 900 Limited Edition Bass Amplifier Head. Engineered for modern bassists who demand razor-sharp high-frequency saturation without sacrificing deep, sub-bass articulation, this limited-run flagship amplifier pairs a massive 900-watt Class-D power section with Darkglass's legendary X-series multi-band crossover engine.

The Microtubes X 900 solves the ultimate bass tone dilemma by splitting your signal into low and high frequency bands through active crossover filters. The low band remains completely clean and tightly compressed for thunderous bottom-end authority, while the high band is pushed into rich, harmonically complex distortion. Wrapped in an exclusive laser-etched laser-finished chassis with full MIDI control, graphic EQ, and IR cab simulation, the X 900 is the ultimate modern bass engine for stage and studio.

Product Intelligence & Tone Mapping:

• Best For: Modern Metal, Progressive Rock, Fusion, Studio Sessions, and Direct-to-FOH World Touring Rigs
• Tone Profile: Sub-Bass Clarity, Razor-Sharp Mid/High Saturation, Ultra-Tight Dynamics, Maximum Headroom
• Compared To: Darkglass Microtubes 900 v2, Darkglass Alpha·Omega 900, Mesa/Boogie Subway D-800+
• Sanctuary Expert Note: If you drop-tune or play 5/6-string bass, standard overdrive can turn your low-end to mud. The X 900's multi-band crossover keeps your fundamental low frequencies 100% clean and compressed while saturating only the upper harmonics, giving you incredible mix clarity.
