Stereo Ambient Creation Machine Built for Deep Explorations
The Guitar Sanctuary is proud to present the Walrus Audio Lore Reverse Soundscape Generator MKII in classic Green. Designed to turn your guitar into a living, breathing cinematic soundtrack, the Lore MKII combines reverse delays, reverse reverbs, and pitch-shifting in five series DSP algorithms with nested feedback paths. From delicate reverse swells and shimmer tails to dark, murky octave pads and sequenced pitch delays, the Lore MKII takes you on an adventurous sonic journey rich with time-stretching and atmospheric depth.
Built on Walrus Audio's proprietary MDSP processing engine, the Lore MKII introduces full stereo I/O, MIDI clock synchronization, expression pedal mapping, and 128 available presets (3 onboard). Featuring custom artwork by Niall Grant, an ultra-wide stereo Width control, and the momentary Dive/Rise pitch glide, the Lore MKII provides endless inspiration for ambient soundscapers, film composers, and adventurous guitarists.
Sanctuary Product Intelligence Matrix
- Best For: Ambient, Post-Rock, Film Scoring, Worship, Shoegaze, Dynamic Fingerpicking
- Tone Profile: Ethereal, Expansive, Pitch-Shifted, Lush, Dark & Atmospheric
- Skill Level / Application: Advanced / Professional Stage & Studio
- Comparable To: Hologram Electronics Microcosm, Chase Bliss Mood MKII, Line 6 DL4 MkII

Five Specialized Soundscape Modes
- Mode I (Reverse Delay into Reverse Reverb): Interacting reverse feedback paths perfect for eerie, building minor-chord textures. Use the X knob to control delay trail reversal before reverb processing.
- Mode II (Reverse Delay into Octave Up Reverb): Light, breathy shimmer ambiance that pairs octave-up harmonic feedback with a spacious reverb tank. Ideal for fingerpicked motifs.
- Mode III (Reverse Delay into Octave Down Reverb): Heavy, murky "dark reverb" with harmonic filtering and low-octave decay that thrives when stacked with fuzz or high-gain overdrive.
- Mode IV (Reverse Reverb into Forward Reverb): Dual-reverb pad engine with octave-up (Regen) and octave-down (Feedback) controls for transforming picking into rich drone landscapes.
- Mode V (Pitch Delay into Pitch Delay): Dueling pitch-shifters operating as a melodic sequencer at longer times or a rich harmonizer at shorter settings.
