The 814e debuted Taylor’s brand-new Super Auditorium body shape. Slightly expanded in both body length and lower bout width compared to the iconic Grand Auditorium, the Super Auditorium produces an exceptionally deep low-end response, woody midrange, and round, sweet trebles. Paired with a torrefied (roasted) Sitka spruce top and extremely dense solid Honduran rosewood back and sides, it yields massive dynamic headroom and piano-like acoustic depth. Inside, traditional hide-glue Fanned V-Class bracing unlocks greater resonance and sustain while maintaining flawless pitch accuracy up the entire fretboard.
