Precision Built for Modern Technical Players
The PRS Tekton Hardtail combines refined ergonomics, contemporary playability, and purpose-built electronics into a focused, highly responsive platform. Designed from the ground up for musicians who demand absolute tuning stability and direct acoustic resonance, the Tekton features a striking figured mango top over a contoured mahogany body with an exaggerated upper-bout scoop for unrestricted access to all 24 jumbo stainless steel frets.
An amber-gold Imperial Topaz finish radiates organic visual warmth while showcasing the striking figured mango top.
Engineered with a modern 25.5” scale length, a flat 16” fretboard radius, and a comfortable Modern "D" neck profile with Luminlay blue side dots, the Tekton feels lightning-fast and natural. Powering the instrument is a set of proprietary PRS Stylus humbuckers. Specially voiced with Alnico 5 magnets to offer an articulate, flatter frequency output, these pickups deliver exceptional clarity whether running through high-gain tube amplifiers or modern digital amp modelers. With push/pull coil-splitting on the tone control, every position offers balanced, musical single-coil and humbucking voices.
