Tekton Series
Precision Built for Modern Players
The Guitar Sanctuary is proud to introduce the groundbreaking PRS Tekton Series—a true evolution in Paul Reed Smith's bolt-on lineage. Designed specifically for discerning, technical players who demand speed, articulation, and flawless performance across both tube amplifiers and modern digital modeling rigs, the Tekton family represents a bold leap forward in modern American guitar craft.
Named after the ancient Greek word for artisan or builder, Tekton reflects the philosophy behind this new series of guitars: combining thoughtful craftsmanship with modern performance. Tekton is built for players who are constantly refining their technique, expanding their sound, and looking ahead to what’s next.
Forged from a hybrid evolution of the PRS Vela and classic Custom body silhouettes, each Tekton instrument features a sleek, thin mahogany body with an exaggerated upper-fret access scoop, a fast Modern "D" satin-finished maple neck, a flat 16" fretboard radius, and stainless steel jumbo frets. Reinforced with internal hormigo strength rods for unbelievable neck stability and acoustic sustain, these instruments feel played-in, responsive, and effortless at full speed.
Every model comes loaded with all-new proprietary PRS Stylus pickups—voiced specifically with a flatter output profile to maintain absolute note clarity under gain while thriving through digital processors and tube amps alike.
The Tekton Family:
- Tekton (6-String with Hardtail Bridge)
- Tekton T (6-String with PRS Two-Point Tremolo)
- Tekton "Floyd" (6 String with Floyd Rose Double Locking Tremolo)
- Tekton SVN (7-String with Hardtail Bridge and Extended Scale Length)
Whichever model you choose, the Tekton line delivers uncompromising clarity, range, and tone.
