The PRS SE DGT (David Grissom Trem) represents the culmination of more than 20 years of collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and David Grissom. Based on the original McCarty platform, this signature model was born from a tireless quest to capture the "grit and glass" of vintage guitars while maintaining the tuning stability and consistency of a modern PRS. The Goldtop finish, paired with traditional Moon inlays, offers a timeless, understated aesthetic for the working musician.
At the heart of the SE DGT are the DGT "S" humbucking pickups. These were meticulously voiced to deliver the specific harmonic richness and responsiveness that Grissom is known for. Unlike a standard humbucker-equipped guitar, the SE DGT features a unique control layout with two individual volume controls and a master push/pull tone control. This allows you to tap into glassy, chimey single-coil sounds or blend the two humbuckers with surgical precision, making it one of the most sonically versatile instruments in the SE lineup.
Beyond the electronics, the playability is defined by the signature DGT neck carve. For Free Shipping items, Effects pedals and small goods items are generally shipped via USPS Priority Mail, and Guitars and Amplifiers are generally shipped via UPS Ground.
Due to our central location in the middle of the US, most orders will be delivered within 1-3 days delivery time.
