Designed by Andy Powers as the quintessential acoustic for electric guitarists, the Builder's Edition 912ce combines a compact, shallow-depth Grand Concert body with Taylor's high-performance V-Class bracing architecture. Featuring a solid Lutz Spruce top paired with solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, this instrument delivers ultra-fast transient response, rich midrange presence, and crystal-clear high-frequency articulation that sits perfectly in studio tracking mixes or live stage environments.

Built for unmatched playing comfort, the 912ce incorporates a suite of ergonomic refinements, including a smooth double-beveled cutaway, beveled Neo-Tropical mahogany armrest, chamfered body edges, and rolled fingerboard edges. The Silent Satin finish eliminates body contact noise while playing or recording. Elegant 900-series aesthetic appointments—including Bellefleur mother-of-pearl and paua abalone inlays, paua top and back purfling, and Gotoh 510 antique gold tuners—make this instrument as visually striking as it is tonally articulate.

Sanctuary Pre-Owned Condition Report

This 2023 instrument is in Excellent Pre-Owned Condition. It exhibits minor playing wear, including light fretwear on the first four frets beneath the B string that does not affect playability or cause buzzing. The body features a couple of small, minor handling marks upon close inspection. The electronics have been fully bench-tested, and the neck is straight with optimum action. Includes the original Taylor Deluxe Hardshell Brown Case.
