Preowned Breedlove Custom C25 Concert - Figured Koa / Western Red Cedar Sunburst

The Original Breedlove Concert Silhouette with Proven Sanctuary Provenance

The "C" body shape is where modern boutique acoustic building truly began for Breedlove. Designed as their iconic interpretation of the cutaway Concert/Grand Auditorium platform, the C25 combines an ergonomically comfortable lower bout with incredible acoustic projection and string-to-string balance.

This particular instrument carries a special history with us here at The Guitar Sanctuary. Originally ordered and sold new right here from our shop in 2014, it was enjoyed by a local collector, traded back in, sold again, and has now returned home to us once more. It has been meticulously cared for throughout its journey and arrives in excellent, well-preserved preowned condition—offering a fully opened-up, mature acoustic voice that only years of careful ownership and fine tonewood aging can achieve.

Constructed with a highly resonant Western Red Cedar top finished in a radiant vintage sunburst, paired with gorgeous highly-figured Masterclass-grade Koa back and sides, this guitar offers a rich, warm, and hyper-articulate tonal spectrum. Cedar provides an immediate, touch-sensitive response that blooms under a light fingerstyle touch, while the Koa back and sides inject sweet midrange focus, chimey trebles, and incredible overtone depth.

The Sanctuary Expert Note

There is something magical about a high-end Cedar/Koa acoustic that has had time to settle in. Because Western Red Cedar has virtually no break-in period and Koa sweetens significantly as it gets played, this custom C25 sounds exponentially richer today than the day it first left our showroom floor. If you're an articulate fingerstyle player or nuanced flatpicker looking for a one-of-a-kind boutique acoustic with zero break-in wait time, this prodigal Breedlove is a absolute home run.
