Hand-Selected at NAMM: C.F. Martin Custom Shop Style 41 Dreadnought
The Guitar Sanctuary is proud to present this exceptional Martin Custom Shop Dreadnought (Configuration C26-006257). Hand-selected by our team at the NAMM Show, every piece of tonewood, inlay detail, and neck contour was specifically curated to create a heirloom-quality acoustic instrument of unmatched tonal authority and visual elegance.
This Custom Shop masterpiece features a Grade 8 Premium Adirondack Spruce top paired with hand-scalloped Golden Era (GE) 5/16" Forward-Shifted Adirondack Spruce bracing. This powerful top construction is set against a magnificent set of Premium Cocobolo back and sides. Cocobolo provides the lush, glass-like clarity and low-end resonance of fine rosewood, complemented by the explosive headroom and note projection that only high-grade Adirondack Spruce can deliver.
Aesthetic appointments include a stunning Style 41 Regular Abalone top perimeter inlay and Rosette, full European Flamed Maple binding across the body, heelcap, endpiece, and fingerboard, and a striking Cocobolo headplate inlaid with the classic C.F. Martin block logo in Select Abalone. Playability is second to none thanks to a 12/4 Genuine Mahogany neck shaped to Martin's highly sought-after GE Modified Low Oval profile with a High Performance Taper, topped with a solid Black Ebony fingerboard featuring Style 45 Reduced Hexagon Abalone inlays.
Why We Love It & Tone Profile
Tone Profile: Explosive, Rich, Glassy, Articulate, Deep, and Unbounded Headroom.
Best For: Bluegrass Flatpicking, Singer-Songwriters, Studio Recording, Dynamic Strumming, and Fine Collectors.
Compared To: Martin D-42 / D-45 Vintage Series, Collings D2H A, Bourgeois Custom Dreadnoughts.
Sanctuary Expert Note: "When we hand-selected these wood sets at NAMM, we wanted a guitar that combines the power of an authentic vintage Golden Era Dreadnought with modern playability. The combination of Premium Grade Adirondack and Cocobolo gives this instrument a massive, room-filling voice that never compresses or breaks up, no matter how hard you dig in with a pick."
