Ibanez GB10 George Benson Signature Model Archtop Sunburst

The Iconic Vintage-Voiced Jazz Masterpiece in Classic Brown Sunburst

The Ibanez GB10 in Brown Sunburst is the definitive benchmark of modern jazz archtop design. Developed alongside legendary 10-time Grammy Award winner George Benson, this Japanese master-built instrument blends the woody resonance of a traditional hollowbody with a refined, compact body dimension. The elegant Brown Sunburst finish highlights the natural grain of its specially selected solid Spruce top and Maple back and sides, offering timeless aesthetic beauty on stage.

Engineered specifically to eliminate stage feedback while preserving pure acoustic vibration, the GB10 features custom dual GB Special mini-humbuckers that float off the pickguard and neck joint. Because the pickups do not rout directly into the spruce soundboard, the top vibrates freely with uninhibited projection, producing a pristine, articulate, and rich jazz tone that cuts through ensemble mixes with warmth and dynamic clarity.

Every detail represents the height of Japanese lutherie: a 3-piece maple set-neck, a bound ebony fingerboard with acrylic/abalone split-block inlays, and Prestige fret edge treatment for lightning-fast playing response. Outfitted with a half-bone/half-brass nut for enhanced sustain and note attack, plus a dedicated GB10 tailpiece featuring individual string tension adjusters, this archtop remains an indispensable tool for discriminating players worldwide.
