Free the Tone Pedals

Welcome to The Guitar Sanctuary, your premier authorized US dealer for Free the Tone. Engineered in Japan by legendary rig designer Yukihiro Hayashi, Free the Tone represents the absolute pinnacle of studio-grade signal integrity, noise reduction, and pro-audio pedalboard architecture. From pristine delay processors and dynamic overdrives to interface boxes and accessories, every Free the Tone unit is built without compromise for musicians who demand flawless performance on stage and in the studio.

Sanctuary Expert Insight: The Free the Tone Difference

"Before founding Free the Tone, Yukihiro Hayashi built custom touring rigs for Japan and international music royalty. His secret weapon? The proprietary HTS (Holistic Tonal Solution) Buffer Circuit. Unlike traditional buffers that alter your guitar's natural impedance or high-end sparkle, HTS manages signal-to-noise ratio while preserving 100% of your instrument's authentic dynamic response—whether the pedal is engaged or bypassed. When you step on a Free the Tone pedal, your core guitar tone remains completely intact."

Why World-Class Touring Pros Choose Free the Tone

In complex, long-cable pedalboard setups, tone suck, impedance mismatching, and unwanted noise floor are constant battles. Free the Tone approaches pedal design from a total system perspective. Rather than building standalone stompboxes in isolation, every drive, modulation, and spatial effect is designed to integrate seamlessly into your rig.

• Proprietary HTS (Holistic Tonal Solution) Circuits: Prevents signal degradation across long cable runs without adding harshness or artificial upper-midrange compensation.
• Pro-Grade Architecture & Reliability: Engineered with custom mechanical enclosures, high-reliability footswitches, and military-grade internal components built to withstand intense touring schedules.

As one of the few dedicated stocking dealers for Free the Tone in the United States, The Guitar Sanctuary maintains an extensive inventory of their pedals, interface boxes, utility tools, and custom cabling components.
