Sanctuary Expert Note: The JB-41C is the ultimate nerve center for modern pedalboard routing. Yukihiro Hayashi built this unit to solve two massive stage issues: setup time and signal degradation. By consolidating four I/O lines into a compact box—complete with three TRS stereo/control pass-through lines and an integrated HTS buffer on the main instrument input—your board stays pristine, organized, and indestructible.
Centralized Pedalboard Routing with Integrated HTS Buffer Technology
The Guitar Sanctuary is proud to carry the Free the Tone JB-41C Signal Junction Box. Designed and built in Japan, the JB-41C serves as a master I/O interface for professional pedalboards, routing instrument inputs, amplifier effects loops, footswitch lines, and expression controls through a single centralized hub.
Plugging long cables directly into individual pedals on a crowded board leads to jack wear, cable clutter, and signal loss. The JB-41C eliminates setup friction by mounting neatly at the edge of your board. All external connections connect to the junction box, protecting your delicate pedals from mechanical strain during live performances and transport.
Integrated HTS Buffer & Flexible TRS Pass-Through Architecture
The JB-41C features four discrete signal lines tailored for total board flexibility. Lines 1 through 3 utilize high-grade TRS (Stereo/Balanced) 1/4" jacks, making them capable of passing stereo audio signals, expression pedal connections, TRS MIDI data, or amplifier channel-switching lines.
Line 4 is equipped with Free the Tone’s proprietary HTS (Holistic Tonal Solution) buffer circuit. When your guitar plugs into Line 4, the HTS buffer immediately converts the high-impedance instrument signal into a robust, low-impedance signal[cite: 5]. This prevents high-frequency loss, preserves natural pick dynamics, and ensures consistent tone whether using short patch cables or running 50-foot snakes to your amplifier[cite: 5].
