Engineered in Japan by master designer Yukihiro Hayashi, the BV-1V provides bass players with everything from subtle, warm tube edge to aggressive, saturated distortion without ever losing low-end punch or clarity.
Unlike standard guitar overdrive circuits adapted for bass, the Black Vehicle features specialized EQ control networks and custom gain staging. The onboard MIX control lets you blend your natural dry bass signal with the overdriven circuit, preserving fundamental low frequencies while layering articulate midrange crunch and singing harmonic sustain over top.
