Darkglass Microtubes 500 1x12 Bass Combo Amp

Vintage Warmth Meets Aggressive Modern Drive in a Portable 1x12 Footprint

The Guitar Sanctuary is proud to present the Darkglass Electronics Microtubes 500 1x12 Bass Combo Amp. Purpose-built for bassists who need ultra-portable, stage-ready power without sacrificing rich, dynamic bass tone, this combo pairs a high-efficiency 500-watt Class-D power section with a custom-voiced 12-inch Eminence neodymium driver and high-frequency horn.

Driven by Darkglass’s legendary analog drive architecture, the Microtubes 500 Combo gives you instant access to two distinct drive engine circuits: the raw, punchy saturation of the Microtubes B3K and the warm, amp-like organic compression of the Vintage Microtubes engine. Paired with an ultra-flexible 4-band active EQ and high-definition impulse response (IR) cabinet simulation, it transitions effortlessly from pristine modern clean tones to full-throttle high-gain distortion.

Product Intelligence & Tone Mapping:

• Best For: Rock, Funk, Fusion, Modern Metal, Church/Worship Direct Rigs, and Studio Session Recording
• Tone Profile: Dynamic Mid-Range Punch, Warm Analog Saturation, Deep Resonant Bass Response, Cut-Through Highs
• Compared To: Darkglass Infinity 500 2x10 Combo, Markbass Mini CMD 121P, Fender Rumble 500
• Sanctuary Expert Note: While the 2x10 Infinity combo offers ultra-fast transient attack and digital preset flexibility, the Microtubes 500 1x12 delivers a warmer, rounder low-end bloom with classic analog tactile control. It is the ultimate plug-and-play combo for gigging bassists.
