The defining characteristic of this limited run is its neck, crafted from genuine Cuban Mahogany. Denser, stiffer, and tonally superior to traditional mahogany variants, Cuban Mahogany delivers an incredibly immediate note attack, pristine harmonic clarity, and a resonant sustain that vibrates straight through the chassis.
The top is a hand-selected Artist Grade Quilt Maple piece, finished in the spectacular Private Stock Faded Indigo with a natural mahogany back to showcase the exquisite contrast of the premium timbers.
For hardware, PRS outfitted this run with sleek Smoked Black hardware, shifting the aesthetic away from standard chrome or gold into a modern, high-end look. The fingerboard is high-grade East Indian Rosewood, adorned with Outline Old-School Bird Inlays crafted from premium Awabi (Abalone) shell, direct homage to the celebrated 40th Anniversary design layout.
