The Guitar Sanctuary is incredibly honored to showcase a truly magnificent find from our recent factory visit to Stevensville, Maryland: a one-of-a-kind PRS DGT Semi-Hollow "Sprayer's Choice". The David Grissom Trem (DGT) has long been celebrated as the ultimate player's PRS, combining the golden-era soul of vintage dual-humbucker instruments with world-class modern consistency. By introducing a semi-hollow body construction with a single, elegant F-hole, PRS has injected a stunning acoustic-like bloom, enhanced airiness, and a woody midrange response that takes this iconic platform to a whole new level of expression.
This "Sprayer's Choice" masterpiece features a custom Black Gold Burst transparent stain that gracefully highlights the deep, recursive flames of the hand-selected carved maple top. To create an upscale, cohesive aesthetic, the finish artisan wrapped the entire back, mahogany neck, and matching headstock veneer in a rich, velvety Brown Burst. Covered in a ultra-thin, breathable nitrocellulose finish, this guitar feels, breathes, and reacts like a decades-old vintage treasure right out of the case.

Proprietary DGT Electronics and Custom Control Layout
The magic of this instrument lies in its voice. It is powered by a calibrated set of proprietary PRS DGT humbucking pickups, meticulously voiced to capture the sweet, open, uncompressed top-end and robust low-frequency growl of pristine late-50s PAFs.
To match David Grissom's exact performance preferences, the control layout utilizes two independent volume knobs (one for each pickup) alongside a master tone control with a push/pull coil-split option. This unique configuration lets you perfectly blend your pickup balance in the middle position, unlocking an infinite gradient of tones ranging from woody, smoky jazz and low-gain Texas blues to stinging single-coil bite and high-octane rock saturation.
