Built on the desirable Duo Jet platform with a chambered mahogany body, this instrument features a hand-selected Curly Maple top finished in a radiant Gloss NOS Sunburst. Styled with classic vintage elegance, it boasts multi-ply W/B/W/B binding, gold hardware, a trapeze-style tailpiece, Gotoh tuners, and a gold pickguard engraved with the legendary Gretsch logo and Chet Atkins signpost.
Tonally, this G6121 is equipped with a set of Gretsch "Patent Applied For" Reissue Filter'Tron pickups wired to a classic 3-way pickup selector and 3-way tone switch setup. Paired with an upgraded Tru-Arc Rocking Bar Bridge, it delivers quintessential rockabilly snap, airy wooden body resonance, and pristine high-end articulation without bridge buzzing or string friction.
The mahogany neck is carved to a comfortable Fat "C" profile with an ebony fingerboard, Mother of Pearl thumbnail inlays, vintage frets, and a bone nut. The black headstock face is adorned with MOP Gretsch logo and Horseshoe inlays. Includes original hardshell case and Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity.
