Australian Blackwood (a cousin of Hawaiian Koa) yields a stunning visual grain paired with a rich, balanced acoustic tone. It provides the warm, punchy mid-range of Mahogany alongside the bright, sparkling top-end articulation of Maple. Built using Cole Clark’s patented integral neck construction where the neck is glued straight to the face, back, and sides, this guitar produces exceptional natural resonance and structural stability.

For live performance, the Angel 2EC features Cole Clark's patented 3-Way Natural Pickup System. By combining an under-saddle bridge piezo for low frequencies, a face sensor for mid-to-high natural body acoustics, and a condenser microphone for top-end air, this system delivers one of the most authentic, feedback-resistant amplified acoustic tones on the market today.
