The defining sonic upgrade of this limited edition is the inclusion of PRS’s newly engineered DMO (Dynamic, Musical, Open) pickups, subbing out the standard TCI pickups typically found on the 24-08 platform. Designed by Paul Reed Smith and his engineering team using advanced signal analysis, DMO pickups deliver an exceptionally "wide open" frequency response with a remarkably vocal, touch-sensitive midrange character. Paired with the iconic 24-08 switching system—featuring two independent mini-toggle coil-tap switches—this guitar allows you to effortlessly toggle between massive humbucking punch and authentic, glassy single-coil chime across eight distinct pickup configurations with zero volume drop.
Aesthetically, this guitar is a visual masterpiece. Draped in a unique "Sprayer's Choice" Deep Indigo Smoked Burst, the hand-selected figured maple top transitions into an ultra-premium stained figured maple neck that matches the burst profile flawlessly.
