    With brilliant acoustics and a vast array of tones, the Hollowbody has been a constant favorite in PRS's dynamic lineup of semi-hollow instruments. The combination of the fully carved maple top and back with mahogany sides provides tonal clarity and extraordinary resonance.

    These days the Hollowbody is available in 2 distinct variations, the Hollowbody II Piezo featuring a custom designed Piezo pickup system that can be blended with the electric pickups for added versatility, and the more vintage inspired McCarty Hollowbody II 594 with it's upper horn toggle and 24.594" Scale.
