While the legendary E-Model is typically crafted from Figured Maple, this one-of-a-kind custom build features premium solid Hawaiian Koa for the top, back, and sides—delivering a warmer, rounder acoustic voice with rich woody midrange and stunning natural visual grain.
Handcrafted in Hagerstown, Maryland, this Legacy E-Model combines traditional open-body interior construction with modern performance ergonomics. At the heart of its acoustic engine is the famous hand-spun Beard Legend Cone™ and spider bridge, engineered to yield explosive projection, remarkable note separation, and dynamic headroom that cuts effortlessly through bluegrass picking circles or dense studio mixes.
The ultra-thin satin lacquer finish lets the solid Koa body vibrate freely right out of the case, offering an open, broken-in acoustic response. Finished with curly maple body and neck binding, an ebony fretboard with Hearts & Flowers pearl inlays, and smooth Gotoh tuning machines, this instrument stands as a crown jewel for any serious resonator player or collector.
