Stripped down, elegant, and deliberately focused, the Senior delivers raw, punchy rock-and-roll authority backed by jaw-dropping German design engineering and unmatched sonic flexibility.

Three Distinct Tones from a Single Pickup

While the Senior boasts a minimalist, single-pickup layout, it houses an incredible secret weapon at the bridge: the newly developed Duesenberg Split/King Humbucker. Protected by an elegant Art Deco "Phonico" pickup cover, this is not a standard split-coil humbucker that suffers from thin, dropping output volumes when tapped.

The Split/King features a true, dedicated single-coil that is programmatically extended into a massive, full humbucker via a secondary, custom-wound coil. Controlled by a 3-way rotary pickup selector switch on the cutaway, players can access three entirely independent structural modes:

• Mode 1 (True Humbucker): Thick, driving, and aggressive mid-range chunk perfect for pushed tube amplifiers.
• Mode 2 (True Single-Coil): Glassy, chimey, articulate, and dynamic note definition with zero compromise.
• Mode 3 (Special Mixed Mode): A custom parallel blend of both worlds, offering an open, woody, and entirely unique hybrid frequency.

Chambered Resonance & Elite Plek Playability

Beneath the flawless lacquer finish lies a solid premium Mahogany body precision-routed with large acoustic sound chambers, married to a carved solid Maple top. This unique hybrid architecture provides the lightweight, resonant breath of a semi-hollow guitar alongside the immediate tracking, punch, and infinite sustain of a pure solidbody.

Like every master-crafted instrument leaving Hannover, Germany, this Senior has undergone Duesenberg’s strict, proprietary Plek Processing service. The frets are leveled to microscopic tolerances (1/1000th of a millimeter) before being hand-dressed and individually signed off by a master luthier, guaranteeing buzz-free, low-action playability all the way up the Indian Rosewood fretboard.
