Designed by Dana Bourgeois to be the ultimate "Bluegrass Cannon," the M5-F Natural combines a modern, clean aesthetic with a voice that sounds decades old.

The M5-F Natural is built for the player who demands maximum acoustic transparency. By utilizing Fully Torrefied (Aged Tone) Adirondack Spruce and Aged Tone European Maple, Bourgeois has created an instrument with a massive volume ceiling and an immediate, woody "pop." The thermal curing process stabilizes the wood and mimics the cellular breakdown of a vintage instrument, resulting in a mandolin that is exceptionally resonant and chemically resistant to humidity changes.
