Based in the South West of England, every single BKP is scatter-wound by hand using traditional skills and vintage-correct materials. Because these pickups are developed on stage and in the studio—not just on paper—they deliver a touch-sensitive response and harmonic complexity that mass-produced coils simply cannot replicate.

    Bare Knuckle Pickup Configuration Guide

    1. Pole Spacing

    50mm: Traditional Gibson® spec.
    53mm (Wide): Modern tremolos, Floyd Rose®, and hardtails.

    2. Leg Length

    Short (1/4"): Universal fit for modern shallow cavities.
    Long (1/2"): Deep-route vintage specs.

    3. Wiring

    4-Conductor: Allows coil-splitting/parallel options.
    2-Conductor: Vintage braided silver wire.
