The new Gold Label 712e marks a significant evolution in Taylor’s compact Grand Concert design. By increasing the body depth, Taylor has unlocked a "Super Grand Concert" voice—delivering the surprising warmth, low-end power, and blooming harmonics typically found in much larger guitars, while maintaining the intimate, lap-friendly frame players love.
Torrefied Tone & Fanned V-Class Bracing
Built with a solid Indian rosewood back and sides paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, the 712e offers an immediate, aged-in sweetness. This "neo-vintage" voice is amplified by the debut of Fanned V-Class Bracing, which has been specifically voiced to maximize the resonance of the deeper body, resulting in enhanced sustain and a perfectly blended note-to-note response.
The Action Control Neck™ Innovation
The most revolutionary feature is the Action Control Neck. Featuring a long-tenon joint for improved tonal transfer and warmth, this system allows players to micro-adjust their string height through the soundhole in seconds.
