The Mark Series amps from Mesa is where things all began for the company we now know as Mesa Boogie. Built originally as hot-rodded Fender Princetons out of a shack in Northern California called the "Home of Tone®," the Mark Series has had a huge impact on changing the industry and making amplifier manufactures re-think what is possible when it comes to vacuum tube amplifiers. Originally just referred to as "Boogies®," the product line took on the moniker "Mark Series" as newer revisions were put into production. Modern versions like the Mark V and its offshoots the Mark Five:25 and Mark Five:35 bring the heritage of amps like the legendary Mark I, Mark IIC+, Mark III, and Mark IV forward with updated features like selectable wattage and fully independent controls.
