Pete Weise was one of our inaugural instructors brought on board in 2011. His resume is outstanding. Pete is a seasoned faculty member of the renowned National Guitar Workshop and a featured contributor for Premier Guitar magazine. He attended the prestigious University of North Texas where he received his B.M. and M.M. in Jazz Performance. While at UNT he studied with Fred Hamilton, Jimi Tunnell, John McLean, Jeff Andrews, Brad Shepik, Oz Noy and Dave Fiuczynski. Pete works well with ages 12 & up. His teaching environment is structured, disciplined, and productive for students working towards a higher level of musicianship. He offers beginning to advanced guitar lessons for all styles specializing in music theory, improvisation, composition, and arrangement. Pete is an excellent choice for high school and college music students seeking an instructor to assist them with audition prep and for working musicians looking to improve their live performance skills.
