James Gabriano

We considered it a privilege when James Gabriano agreed to join our teaching staff in 2014. The Performance Academy needed an instructor to help expand stylistic offerings for guitar, and one with experience with programs for younger students. James was the right instructor for that role. James studied Classical and Jazz Guitar at the University of North Texas and has a long history of private guitar instruction.

James offers a straightforward and constructive teaching environment for all ages. He teaches beginning to advanced guitar in all styles with a specialty in Classical, Flamenco, Acoustic Rock, Latin, and Smooth Jazz.

James is a veteran of live performance. He has performed for multiple Grammy award winning artists and currently performs weekly at high profile private functions in the DFW metroplex. James’s two most recent CDs, “Riviera Sunrise” and “Acoustically Speaking”, have been featured on radio stations worldwide.
 
James is available for lessons Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
