Alexa Burkhart - Vocal Instructor
Alexa Burkhart has a lengthy history with The Guitar Sanctuary Performance Academy. She started vocal training with us at the age of 7 working with our most advanced vocal instructors Carly Reign, Chelsea Pilgrim, and Iveth Luna. Alexa was extraordinary talented for her age. She rapidly accelerated through our extracurricular live performance programs, interned as an artist counselor for multiple “Rock the Mic” Summer vocal camps, and garnered our attention as someone we wanted to invest in as a future instructor. We are pleased that investment paid off. Alexa joined our instructor staff in the Spring of 2021.
Alexa’s teaching environment is informative and encouraging. She offers beginning to intermediate voice and guitar lessons to students ages 8 to 17 specializing in Modern Pop and Praise & Worship Music styles.
Alexa’s professional stage experience is extensive and includes over 150 live performances. She has appeared on the main stage as a featured artist for several City of McKinney sponsored events such as Arts in Bloom, Red White & Boom, and Oktoberfest as well as AT&T Stadium and functions for the Texas Music Project. She currently performs regularly in the McKinney area and with the Praise & Worship team and Preston Trail Community Church.
Alexa is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
