This Eye Catching Tom Anderson Pro Am is in their Go Mango high gloss finish.
The Pro Am is the model that started it all for Tom Anderson:
"Back in the mid to late 80's, humbucker pickups and the Floyd Rose locking tremolo bridge found its way into the double cutaway guitars and a whole new style of Rock was launched.
Also in the mid 80's, a whole new guitar company was launched, Tom Anderson Guitarworks. As we stated in our first magazine ad, "We are a small American company dedicated to creating the world's finest feeling, playing and sounding electric guitars. Period!"
Well, it was this commitment that led to the Pro Am, the most amazing feeling, playing and sounding guitar to appear on the scene. It changed everything in the guitar world!"
This one features a solid Basswood body, with maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard.
The Even Taper neck profile is undersized by -.020 and it sports Jumbo frets and 1 1/16" nut width for maximum performance.
The Hardware includes a recessed Locking Tremolo and lock nut with locking tuners (for good measure...)
Electronics include a pair of SC1 single coils in the neck and middle positions with an HN3 bridge humbucker.
