Presenting the all new Suhr Oso, this one with a Figured Maple Top on Mahogany Body done in a Custom Orange Stain, with Mahogany Neck, Indian Rosewood fingerboard, and Suhr 2-Post Tremolo.

The Oso started as a fresh take on the classic short-scale T, but evolved into something uniquely its own.

Inspired by the simple, raw character of some of John’s first guitars and the captivating vibe of the Aura, John Suhr designed the Oso to blend old-school charm with modern precision.

He loved the balance of the 3x3 tuning gear layout originally designed for the limited production Suhr Aura, paired with a slight headstock angle, creating a look and feel that’s timeless.

The body and headstock were designed as a cohesive team, flowing seamlessly together to honor tradition while carving a bold new path. Blind fret ends on every Oso are precision-milled for a seamless playing experience—no sharp edges, no distractions. Just pure, effortless comfort from every angle.

The Transparent Orange version features a Mahogany Body with Figured Maple top, and a Mahogany neck with Rosewood fingerboard.
