The new American Ultra Luxe Vintage series takes it a step further, showcasing the finest of Fender heritage – where timeless classics meet uncompromising modern refinement, combining some of the best modern-ized features of the Ultra Luxe AND the American Vintage into one.
The Ultra Luxe Vintage '60s Stratocaster® HSS (Humbucker/Single Coil/Single Coil) features premium alder body with carved contours that complement the aged Heirloom™ lacquer finish for a vintage look and feel.
Built for precision performance, the quartersawn maple neck has a Modern 'D' shape and Ultra rolled edges with medium jumbo stainless-steel frets, Luminlay® side dots, and a Graph Tech TUSQ® nut. The tapered neck heel ensures unparalleled access to the higher register.
A pair of Pure Vintage '61 Strat® single-coils deliver classic Fender tones, from sparkling cleans to rich, expressive leads in the neck and middle positions, while the new Tim Shaw designed Haymaker™ humbucker brings powerful, articulate crunch, with the added flexibility of coil-splitting via the S1 switch.
Performance hardware includes a precision-engineered 2-Point American Ultra synchronized tremolo with polished stainless steel block saddles, cold rolled steel block, and deluxe locking tuners for quick string changes and superior tuning stability.
