Klon KTR Overdrive Pedal Reissue

The Klon KTR is the legendary reissue of the original KLON Centaur pedals.

Produced by Bill Finnegan, the reissues match the tonality and performance of the original legendary Silver and Gold Centaur units in a smaller, more compact housing, with switchable buffer, and surface mount components.

Given how true they are to the original pedals, and the street price of them new from authorized dealers ($269) they are always in exceptionally high demand, and command insane prices on the used market.

As a store, we have tried every way we can think of to keep the sales of these pedals as fair and equitable as possible, from initially taking pre-orders, to doing waiting lists, to doing notification lists, etc. The unfortunate reality in each case is that it unfortunately causes frustration for all involved, as we get them in very small batches (usually 8-12 at a time) and on average had 1500+ people on our notification at any one time.

The result was that every time we received a shipment of them we got to make 8-12 people happy, and then our staff would have to spend the next 24-36 hours responding to hundreds of phone calls, emails, texts, and messages from frustrated folks who missed out on the opportunity to get one.

We have decided moving forward that to make the following changes to how we handle the sales of the KTR:

We are no longer going to maintain a notification list for the KTR.

We are only going to offer them for sale to regular customers who have purchased other items from the store previously.

As always, We limit the purchase of KTRs to 1 Per Customer EVER to avoid "Flippers" buying them to just re-sell them at an inflated price.

At any given moment, we have thousands of people that would like to buy a KTR. We WISH we could get them in large quantities and have them available all the time, but unfortunately we can't. It certainly isn't our desire to frustrate you in how hard it is to get them.....

We wish we could get more on a more regular basis, we simply can't....
